Assessments to Enhance Self Understanding

said “This above all: to thine own
self be true.” It seems to encourage us to always tell
ourselves the truth. We above all others should know our strengths and
weaknesses. But why? In the workplace, people that know themselves will
make better career choices. They know what they are capable of and just
how far they can and want to stretch themselves. People that understand
their strengths, know how to maximize them and apply their talents to new
projects, challenges and opportunities. Individuals that realize their
weaknesses, do a better job of improving them over time or minimizing their
impact by seeking support and assistance when needed. The biggest value
of knowing yourself, both the good and the bad, is the ability to manage
self and still achieve all that you want to achieve in your career. There
are no perfect people. We all have strengths and weaknesses.
It's whether we realize it and what do about it that counts. Ideally, you
should never receive feedback about yourself that you don't already know!
But how does
one begin the “Discovery” portion of this journey? Our Online
Assessment learning tools can help you begin your journey to improve “Self
Understanding”. We have 11 online
learning tools that will provide you with insight and
a fresh look at strengths and weaknesses in a variety of different content
areas. We encourage you to review each of the nine online options below before
selecting what's best for you.
The Resource
Connection offers comprehensive support to individuals and organizations
embarking on the journey to improve “Self Understanding”. The
feedback reports generated by each of our learning tools will vary in type
of feedback, style of feedback and depth of information. Some reports will
require more assistance than others from a “Certified Consultant” to
interpret and thus gain maximum meaning from the experience. We therefore
provide the following types of support:
- One-on-One
Coaching: We provide telephone based as well as on site,
in person one-on-one coaching on an hourly basis for each of our online
assessments by a “Certified”
professional Consultant.
- Train-the-Trainer: We
provide customized “Train the Trainer” workshops that prepare
in-house professionals to interpret and implement our DiSC based assessments
and Team Dimensions. Comprehensive Facilitator Kits are available.
- Customized
Workshops, Interventions and Support: We provide personalized
workshops, customized interventions and unique support requests to clients
with specific needs and goals. We would welcome the opportunity to speak
